"Fancy" rapper Iggy Azalea is the latest celebrity to be accused of blackfishing, a term used to describe someone who is purposefully trying to look black or biracial.
In a look from her latest music video, Iggy is sporting a dark wig and tan skin, which sent the internet into a vicious tirade against the part-Aboriginal rapper.
"I'm the same color as I always am, just in a dimly lit room with red lights," tweeted Azalea in response to the backlash. "It's the same makeup from every other part of the video just with a Smokey eye and different wig."
Azalea isn't the first celebrity to be accused of blackfishing. Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, and Ariana Grande have all come under fire for appropriating black fashion, hair, or makeup trends. However, this really is the ultimate example of a double standard. I mean, Traraji P. Henson can wear a blonde wig and Idris Elba can don a traditional Irish cable-knit sweater with zero criticism whatsoever. So tell me, why can it go one way but not the other?
The reality is liberals want to paint white people as evil and conniving because it furthers their warped cause. They need to make up ridiculous things like wearing a black wig is racist, to distract people from the fact that the Democrats are failing and dividing the country.#Truthbomber
