Boy, this is confusing.
Emily Ratajkowski, the model best known for dancing naked in Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' video, recently gave birth to her first child named Sylvester Apollo Bear, a bouncing bundle of political correctness.
In the birth announcement little Sylvester is wearing a pink hat, and mom and dad have publicly said that Sylvester will be able to pick his or her own gender and inform them at the age of 18 what that choice may be. She also went on the record as being fearful of giving birth to a white privileged male.
"I don't like gender-forced perceptions on people, let alone babies," said the model who is all too eager to embrace her own femininity in both her work as a model and clothing designer. In fact, her Instagram page looks like soft-core porn. Every other picture is of her half naked in a bikini, and if that isn't promoting a gender stereotype, I don't know what is. She is the epitome of hypocrisy. She doesn't want her baby's genitalia to define them, but she's literally famous for flaunting her boobs.
This just floors me. You can't pretend your baby has no genitalia. It’s not a Barbie doll! As a mom of four, who has changed many diapers, I can say unequivocally that requirements for a baby boy are different from that of a baby girl and that isn't an opinion, it is a scientific fact. The better question is, why? What is so wrong about being proud to have a son or daughter. I feel like there is more shame in denying them their biological title. What about things like periods and puberty? Can't pretend gender doesn't come into play there.
Liberal America, my advice to you is stop using innocent children as pawns in your game to paint society as immoral. Stop telling children the words "mom" and "dad" are bad and denying them the fundamental knowledge of knowing their own gender. Hate is taught, and not through wearing a dress or a jockstrap. Hate is taught when you tell people everything and everyone around them has toxic intentions. Cries of white privilege are teaching children to hate themselves, and to look at themselves as automatically guilty before they are even given the chance to grow and act. There are plenty of poor, unfortunate, white kids who go to bed hungry every night, but good job at making them feel shitty for the color of their skin. If that isn't racism, I don't know what is. Time to leave the kids alone. #Truthbomber
